I've got something to be overjoyed about

So mom did get Persona 4 and Final Fantasy X with that Amazon code I won, plus Final Fantasy X-2 and Final Fantasy XII!

The Final Fantasy games will be my Christmas gifts, but I can play Persona 4 now, which is good since I kind of want to catch up with the other Final Fantasy games before beginning the PS2 ones (although, I guess it doesn't really matter, right Lief?).

It doesn't really matter, no. At most you lose some references to earlier games. (XII is hit the hardest by this, I believe.)

And yay, Persona 4!

I finally got DeSmME to work without lagging like crazy! I kept fiddling around with different settings, and finally found the thing that improved performance and frame rate! Final Fantasy III is running at full speed for me now!

Now I should be able to play other DS games without lag, including The World Ends With You.

TWEWY might still be a little difficult, given that it's primarily stylus-based IIRC.

TWEWY would be pretty difficult to play on an emulator, there are ton of different motions you have to use for pins...

Yeah, it was a bit tricky when I first played it, but I eventually got the hang of it. It's just that the audio was driving me the most insane... The music was absolutely awful sounding when I played it before because of all the lag...

....I kind of regret deleting it and the save data from my computer, but I guess it won't hurt to play through it again. I think I was on the second day (maybe the third?) when I stopped.
