Oh, you really ought to throw Bishop into Yew's job pool. With White Mage's Group Cast Master, you can completely heal your whole party for a measly 24 MP.

In other news, I attempted to reach 500,000 damage for my sent move. I've seen people with freakin' 999,999, so I know it can be done, but I've only managed to hit 377,000-ish and I don't really know what else I should be doing.

Yeah, I might just run off and worry about that side quest later. I'll work on Bishop. Combine Benediction with Group Cast master and Steady MP recovery, and you don't have to worry about running out of MP or Heath. ~~unless the healer gets KO'd~~

If you want it, bust out the BP Recovery and Berserk setup. Make someone a Merchant or give them More Money. Equip as many Triple Wield, Dual Wield, Two-Handed, P. Attack Up 20%, etc skills as you can, and throw in Precognition, too. Go to the Critical room in Geyser Grotto and chain to 99 consecutive battles. You should get 999,999 pg at the end of the chain, plus a ton of experience and JP, too.

It's probably the strangest thing to come out of the Bravely series (including FF:4HoL).

I'd guess it comes from the old practice of having "water" attacks actually deal "ice" damage, but I'm not sure why they went with water being the Actual Element. Probably because there's a lot more water attacks, or because it makes more sense with it beating fire.

Went back and beat up Alternis, I kinda cheated and just used two strong friend summons to KO his flunkies and he only used Minus strike at the end, which lead to 3/4 of the party being KO'd thanks to damage dispersion. Tiz had enough HP to tank it though. ~~He was the last one standing. again.~~
