That moment of sadness when

Lief, what I said was not related to what KM said a month ago.

So, kids, I hope you learned why you should check the timethings on the posts.

You turn on your iPod and discover the battery has gone from 50% to 0% while it was supposed to be charging. Thus meaning you have to spend three hours outside without any music. Then that moment of sadness again when you discover your iPod didn't charge at all during those three hours.

you discover the leftovers you were looking forward to having were already eaten a few days ago. Even more disheartening when it means you must now clean the oil off the pan you were ready to cook with.

...you realize that you probably won't be able to afford a good enough computer to run minimum requirements for most games...

Out of boredom, I was looking over the minimum pc requirements for some games I'm wanting to play when I get a new computer and comparing them with a decent looking laptop I'm considering buying when I get my tax return. It's a ASUS X551MAV-RCLN06 with 4GB memory, 500GB hard drive, and 2.16GHz prosessor speed (or the D550MAV-DB01 which is almost the same and slightly cheaper). Unfortunately, most games I'm seeing require a faster prosessor speed, like Minecraft (minimum is 2.6GHz) and GTA V (minimum is, surprisingly, 2.4GHz). And I highly doubt those laptops have the minimum required video card...

So yeah, my PC gaming future, along with my Let's Play future, looks bleak...

For having fun, 2.16 is still quite good. Keep in mind that I only have 1.333.

And I imagine the laptop I had was even slower, so I guess there's still hope.

You find out that a neighbor you were friendly with had passed away almost two months ago. I usually saw her on her patio and had assumed that reason I hadn't seen her was because of the cold temperatures.

You have to help toss an entire store's supply of frozen goods/dairy/meat/other stuff in freezers/refrigerators because the power went out overnight and ruined everything.....

Ouch.... Have fun unloading the truck... Just remember keep your back straight and vertical and lift with your legs.

Will do! They wanted me to come in early to help since it's going to be a lot of work, so don't expect to see much from me tomorrow until late.

Oh yeah, you don't realize just how much stuff you can put in a semi until you get real close and I'm sure it seems even bigger on the inside...
