This. Is. MINECRAFT! [v1]

Okay, I uninstalled Java (turns out that I had 3 versions on this computer...), then re-installed the latest version.

After booting up the server, I was able to connect to it via localhost (though, I timed out after a few seconds, but I blame my computer for that). I cannot, however, connect to it by my IP address.... It tells me that the connection was refused.

So yeah, still not sure what's going on....

I have no problem with resetting the server, but I think at the very least you should save the current map.

I just had another thought, I still the have original version of my copy of the server, before we added in the Pit Stop world files.

Curiously, now that I've upgraded to Java 7.65 and gotten rid of a copy of Java 7.40, Minecraft refuses to leave the launch screen. I'm gonna try redownloading Minecraft to see what happens then.

Just found out that they are working on enhancing performance, right now rendering, for 1.8

Now I really can't want for us to upgrade.

I just learned something disturbing... any guesses as to what it is?

I was about to say "carnivorous bunny," but I don't know enough about Minecraft to know if that's noteworthy. I did, however, notice that it's a kickin' name for a death metal band, and will leave this here anyway for anyone who would like to pick that up.

It is indeed a carnivorous bunny which on easy will deal 5 damage on easy and 12 on hard. It is also directly based upon Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The Killer Bunny has a 1/1000 spawn rate, all other bunnies are peaceful.

After closely studying the log from my attempt with my antivirus disabled, I decided to try adding C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe to my trusted programs, only I couldn't find it through my antivirus's interface. So I manually looked for it and found that the only thing in the C:\Program Files\Java folder was my Integrated Development Environment Kit. Although that hasn't been updated in some time, I'm 99.9% certain it is not required for Minecraft unless I'm making a mod.

I then had the thought of checking my game profile for any clues why it would be looking for a non-existent file and found that I had checked an option that was forcing it to look for that file.

So I'm trying once more before I pretty much give up.

MINECRAFT HAS LOADED UP AND IS PLAYING

Now if only the server will do the same and allow a connection :epic nail biting:
