Yume Nikki has been released on Steam! This marks the game’s first release in English on an official platform! This is a game that is truly part of my identity, one of my all-time favorites, a game that I’ll never forget. The fact that it’s being brought to an even wider audience, with the blessing of Kikiyama himself, is more exciting to me than I can even express! And not just because we finally know what pronouns to use when referring to Kikiyama!

I feel like a teenager again. Yume Nikki had always been with me, and having it in an official format feels better than I can describe. I strongly encourage all of you to download it, it’s free as ever.

Low. The game is creepy, but in a quiet, downbeat way. Part of the atmosphere is simply that so much is unexplained. It’s not a game that goes for big scares, but a thick atmosphere.
