Yeah, but start with 3 points for your top choice so your vote counts as much as everyone else's. And no voting for more than 3. :B

Quick question: Are we allowed to vote on things involving ourselves (like ships, art, etc.)?

You're allowed to vote in categories where you've been nominated, but you can't vote for anything within that category that involves you directly, like a ship or your art or your theme and stuff.

Also, just noting, the deadline for voting is March 11 at 3PM Eastern, since that's when I get home from school :V

Just to clarify, things like the Steam Giftening or the Family Tree are fine to vote for if you were involved. The only things you shouldn't vote for if you were involved in them are:

Blogs you posted that are nominated in the Best Blog category
LPs you posted that are nominated in the Best Let's Play category
Ships that you're in that are nominated for either of the shipping categories
Themes that you had that are nominated in the Best Theme category
Art that you made that is nominated in the Best User-Made Art category
Any category in which you, personally, are nominated as a user (for example, Best Blogger)

Everything else is fair game. So, for example, anyone who gifted a Steam game during the Giftening can vote for the Giftening. Bunny can vote for the Family Tree as a Crowning Moment of Funny, but not for Best Blog.

If this gets too confusing, let me know. I think it's an important distinction to make but if it complicates the voting process then I'll simplify it. :U

Also if you need an actual name for the "Lief's Art" entry you can use "Lief's OCs dressed as mages". Or "Lief's OCs as mages", whichever.

Giving people a heads-up: My inbox is getting pretty full, and my savebox (where I usually send things when my inbox is full) is getting there as well.

There may be some issues sending tomorrow if I don't get around to emptying out my inbox at a decent time. If that happens, hold onto your votes, and I'll make sure to work it out ASAP.

Why not make a new account called "VoteBox" or something dedicated specifically for recieving votes so you don't have that issue?

That would require a whole bunch of things like setting up a new email and a new account for this stuff that I really can't do at the moment because of homework that I am ostensibly doing tonight. :V

Plus, I'd have to switch to another account to see if anyone's submitted their applications. Not fun. It's really just better to address the inbox problem directly, especially since doing that will help beyond the competitions by forcing me to address this whole "I've been hoarding all these messages because I don't like deleting things" mentality I've got going on. :U
