May as well throw in my personal favorite Youtuber for how to draw stuff: Mark Crilley!

Re: Art Resources
I just wanted to jump in and say that I made my own brushes today! It's actually really easy!
I use FireAlpaca, but I think most art programs have an option to "Add Brush (Bitmap)". Basically, what you do is on a small canvas, you make a shape. Any shape will do. Save it as a PNG or whatevs, and then click Add Brush (Bitmap). Select your shape, and then various options will appear for a brush! Have fun trying out things!
I've made 3 brushes so far that will prove handy to me. I would show you what they look like, but I'm just getting a black box everytime I try to host an image for them. :V They work lovely though!

Re: Art Resources
So, not sure if this is the right area to ask this, and I've probably asked this before (but my bad memory forgets thins easily ), but I'm thinking of maybe getting a digital drawing tablet or something to draw digitally, either when I get some money saved up, or for my birthday next year, so does anyone have any recommendations for good but affordable tablets/whatever for digital art? I know a few of you have tablets/whatever already, so who better to ask?

Re: Art Resources
I think a medium Wacom is what most people use (Wacom in general is what you should go for). But what you want to go for is a tablet big enough that you can use your arm and shoulder to make your lines. There's screen ration too, but you really need to get your elbow and arm into your lines.
Also what program would you want to use? I have a few friends who get a tablet and then only have Paint to work with (which you could use and do good things with, but it's really not the best thing). You would most likely want to invest in an art program too to really help your digital art.

Re: Art Resources
Programs I'd be interested in would be ones to help with stuff like webcomics and good all around digital art programs.
