Eh, I'm kinda iffy on it. Honestly, I don't like the romance angle with vampire anime these days. My Hellsing obsession has made me biased against it.

Oh yeah I forgot to add Fate/Zero...

Its a dark series but has a strong plot, although I don't think it will appeal to everyone since it can be quite complex and confusing if you're not familiar with the Fate Series. I had to re-watch the series to get a more complete picture of everything that was going on, and to really appreciate it.

The first time I watched it I didn't really feel much towards any of the characters except a couple but then I watched it a second time and it broke my heart.

And the animation's gorgeous. The action scenes - hnnnnng.

You need to exit the WYSIWYG editor mode by clicking the bottom right button in the quick reply formatting boxes. You know if you've found the correct button because the mouse over will display Switch Editor Mode.
