Yes please. Please. Let's totally do this. Vechs, the creator of the maps, was one of the first youtubers I ever watched.

Yeah it's old, but me and Greece had an awesome time. Charles didn't. He rage quit within an hour after dying several times in a row, losing lots of valuable stuff including beds and full sets of tools found in chests.

Me and Greece on the other hand managed to harvest a tree near spawn, one of probably a few on the entire map, despite the fact the island behind it contained a blaze spawner that I accidentally triggered and subsequently caused the tree to catch on fire. We managed to save one sapling and half of the tree's harvested wood (the other half burned in lava with me after getting shot). We named the sapling George, collected some dirt to plant him and managed to gather enough raw materials to make a bed.

As we did some more exploring in an underground location, we found to our relief and embarrassment that me and Charles had overlooked some saplings in a chest we looked in. We then began to grow some wood, found the largest coal vein ever seen in Minecraft, named a couple trees, and tore each one down within seconds of them being full grown.

I'm interested in this server if I ever have time. which map are you guys doing?

Sea of Flame II. Since you seem to be familiar with the maps, can you tell me if upgrading to a modern version of Minecraft would ruin the map? I think most of us got a good appreciation how much better the user interface has gotten since then.

I'm not 100% sure but I'd say yes. Some of the mechanics may be screwed up if you update to a newer version.

*loads up the server to see if there really is TNT under the pressure plates*

So I have so far found no TNT, no reliable source of food, destroyed the blaze spawner, retrieved a couple potions, found more saplings, grew a couple more generations of George, found that George can grow without bone meal, found out that the pillar room has Ghast Spawners.

What generation of George are we on now?
