I don't have a Wendy's near where I live.
On the topic of French fries, I adore Carl's Jr. French fries the most. Wendy's has French fries that are alright to above average.

Bruh, Checkers has the best fries ever. Actually, we don't have Carl's Jr. around here. Or White Castle. Or Whataburger. But we have Cracker Barrel so I'm content!

That's a bit different than my area. The people I've gotten rides from never ask for anything in return aside from expecting you to provide the same services later down the road.Jack Pschitt wrote:Dark Magician Girl wrote:My work is a 5 minute walk from my house and I will be commuting to college with a sibling of mine. Funnily enough, none of that was planned (in terms of me almost never using a car solely for myself). I imagine you must be somewhat jealous.
That's how you want me to react. I'll have you know that I mooch rides off of my friends in exchange for me buying them Taco Bell sometimes, so I've got it made. I'm not jealous at all. Nope. At all. Not.

As long as you like Coldplay, we have something to talk about.

It's kind of funny because I like playing their songs on the piano, but my mom HATES them, so...

Really? My mom is the one who exposed me to Coldplay from a really young age because she had Parachutes on CD (still their best album, if you ask me). Their music makes me feel really nostalgic and sweet. Anyway, I wish I could play piano! Although if you can't play guitar, then that means I still have something over you.

I don't necessarily have favorite artists...The only people I really pay attention to/would try listening to all their songs at least once would have to be Imagine Dragons, The Piano Guys, and Lindsey Stirling. :I
I just prefer songs over groups. There are some Coldplay songs I like, I've only listened to Sail by AWOLNATION and enjoyed that, there's some One Republic I like, some Fall Out Boy, and even some deadmau5.
In terms of food, I was pretty sure Wendy's has healthier food than Taco Bell, but none of that matters because I only like the Bean Burrito from Taco Bell and Frostys and a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger from Wendy's. :U
Also, I love the chicken and dumplings from Cracker Barrel! And that homemade mac and cheese...mmmmm

I don't like coldplay, yet I still respect them as musicians
I prefer classic rock, new wave, new music by classic artists (bob dylan, U2, etc), game music, and weird al yankovic.

I'm actually surprised I've been able to go this long without driving experience of any kind. I guess I should be grateful to have a mommy who loves me and really nice friendswho are more self-responsible than I am. Though like I said, I kinda have a problem with driving. I wish I lived in a situation where I didn't have to drive, but here in suburbia everything is kinda stretched out and bigger than it needs to be, you know?
The only driving experience I've had is driving down our long driveway once in a while to check the mail or something. Other than that, I have never drove on an actual road. Fortunately, I have a grandma who loves me and no irl friends to hang out with, so all I ever need to be drove to is work, which is just down the road a few miles. Everything else we do as a family (which is mainly go to the store when we need groceries and stuff).
Oklahoma is full of idiots when it comes to driving.... One good example of that is my aunt who, though she hasn't been at fault in any of them, has been in at least half a dozen or more accidents in the past 2 or 3 years.....Dark Bunnies wrote:If it makes anyone feel better, my permit expired over a year ago and I still haven't gotten a new one. :U I don't like driving here, the people are crazy! I did just fine in Utah and would already have my license because I passed the test, but we moved before I turned 16, and I'll be turning 18 in December. I just don't really want to drive here. I like driving, but not in Maryland...
I'm tempted to say that everyone says their state is the worst... but I'm also tempted to ask, have you driven in Florida?! Good god! I don't know how I'm going to cope, being the Woody Allen-type I'm prone to being!
Everybody trade horror stories do it. My mother's madcap escapades could fill a novel.
Every time we've gone to Wendy's, our food has been icy cold.... Having an ice cold burger is not fun...Dark Magician Girl wrote:Wendy's has an unhealtheir selection of food than Taco Bell

The closest Wendy's we have is 30+ miles away. It's mostly Sonics around where we live, plus a few Subways here and there, and one or two McDonald's. There's also a couple of Pizza Huts and Mazzio's a little further away in a few towns. Everything else is usually 30+ miles away (not counting the local diners and stuff).
As for fries, I love Burger King's fries. The closest one we have is also 30+ miles away, but every time we go, I try to get some fries. Arby's (also 30+ miles away) curly fries are also to die for (sometimes literally with how greasy they can be, but still ). Sonic has improved their fries in the recent years, so they're good too. McDonald's fries are meh, but still enjoyable.
As for Carl's Jr. fries, I have a funny story from the last time we went: It was late, and they seemed like they were about to close for the night. We had ordered some meals, so they came with fries. Took them forever to actually fix them, and we were wondering why.
Now, I'm not sure if this is what happened exactly, but after a while, we saw one of the Carl's Jr. guys come from the Burger King that was across the street with a bag in his hand. Soon after, we had our order and, sure enough, our fries looked like Burger King fries..... I wasn't complaining since I love their fries, but still... Kind of weird that they'd have to go to a rival fast food place for fries.
Fun fact, that Carl's Jr. was also 30+ miles from us, but is now closed.

My own musics are quite varied. Most of the time, it either clicks or doesn't. Lately my preferences have been more towards country with songs from Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan being rather attractive to me.
