The Galactic Arcade [v3]

Finished downloading Saints Row 3 and I figured things would be laggy.... It's still playable though, so I am enjoying it so far.

Combat is pretty good. Vehicle controls handle fairly well, better than Just Cause 2 at least. There is the occasional problem of controls sticking when I'm walking or driving, as I tend to just keep moving after I've stopped pressing the key... I blame the lagginess...

Also, I must say this game is quite vulgar and crude...I love it!

So I learned today that Euro Truck Simulator 2 has a non-official multiplayer thing. It looks awesome and as long as you stay away from the biggest traffic areas (namely the area along the English Channel), you get decent frame rate. Well it seems for most setups.

Also it's kinda expensive in game because of how many assholes there are...

I want a purple car irl.

Just made my first multiplayer delivery! It was a short trip, basically just take two fairs and drive 100 miles. No real noticeable frame rate drop and I encountered three players. First time I was just pulling out of port into the city roads and nearly got smacked into by another driver pulling into the port. I don't think he was trying to hit me, but he choose to cut the corner and it nearly cost both of us.

Later while I was stopped on the road trying to figure out how to type stuff into the mod, I was passed by two trucks running in convey and we exchanged friendly honks.

Also, nothing beats beating the shit out of everyone with a giant purple dildo.

...I kid you not, that is actually a thing you can do in this game.

Also, if you don't know what a dildo is, DO NOT GOOGLE IT.

I'd believe it, but I think you can do the same thing in GTA IV, or at least I know you can pick them up and throw them.

but saints row the third is an over the top GTA.
don't believe me, just look up a let's play of any game that isn't the first two.

personally I feel saint's row is what GTA should have become :V

Saint's row is essentially a parody of GTA and much better for that

Wishing him the best at a very hard job. He's got a lot to live up to.

Also notable, there's been a few shifts in the company besides the new President; including entirely new positions called "Technology Fellow" (Genyo Takeda) and "Creative Fellow" (Shigeru Miyamoto).

Ace attorney and monster Hunter are getting anime

I'm so going to watch the Ace Attorney anime!
