Well, my brake line is bent and flared into shape. Things appear to be fitting good off the truck, now it's time to install it. I really hope this works, but I'm scared it won't based upon everything else so far.... I also know it won't be going back in very easy as the line is routed around the back of my steering gear box and that thing is heavy and I don't want to remove it from my truck if I don't have to.

Well now I have a new fitting and also a new brake hose. I really want my truck to drive again so I decided to throw away the original hose I bought just in case it is faulty or now damaged from my failed attempts so far. This new hose is also from a different manufacturer.

Tricky bit about installing this fitting. I left plenty of room on the line just in case I had to do this, but reflaring the line is going to be a pain while the line is on the truck, but I don't want to have to completely remove the line either. I'll have to hold the flaring tool while using it can sometimes result in a bad flare.

Work was quite fun today! I found out that two of the guys I work with also like Pokémon and one of them is on Bulbagarden!
