Derp that would've been helpful information to give

August 18. My classes start the following week, leaving me just a handful of days to get my license, so I can't afford to screw up on my driver's test.

Maybe the 15th? It's a saturday.

A weekend wouldn't work with the buses around here unless I first got a lift out a certain mall in my county. Most bus services don't run on the weekends.

How about the 14th then? Or what would work for you guys? Me and Greece should be good like any day until school starts later in the month.

Hmm... To do this means passing up on the weeklong family trip to relatives that I already have the option of opting out of. Be an interesting test to see how well I can live on my own. It'll also mean some extra effort and expense getting there since I'll have to walk about two miles to catch a bus to get to the hospital to catch the express to the Metro.

Like I said before me and Greece are good for anytime, so we currently have someday between the 7th and the 18th, and not on an weekend.

Oh! I could bring my Vanguard cards and we could play!

So really it seems like it depends on Nanna's schedule, if she can go.

Tell me a date and I'll see if it works out with my schedule. Odds are it won't, but humor me anyway.

So I recall from my last visit to the zoo that the zoo opens earlier than most of the buildings do. Checking the site reveals those times are 6 and 10. Perhaps we should aim for 8 or 9 and plan on parting ways at 4?

I have band camp all this week, but all next week I should be free. The 14th is a family camp out, so probably not then. And if I could get a ride with Greece and Meyneth, that would probably be ideal because I haven't discussed this at all with my family. I probably should though...just so my parents are aware. I'll probably get in some trouble, or they may be chill with it...but you never know until you ask...I just want to do it wit just my mom and dad around though, as I don't want my siblings hearing any drama if there is an argument.

I'll ask when Greece gets home. You'll be at church next week, right, Greece? Or no?

I dunno how good the commuter services are locally in your area, but in my experience and opinion, it would be better to go by rail in with the tail end of the commuter rush than by road. Something that one of you guys should do before we go much further with planning is figure out how long it'll take to get out to the zoo from your end.

I'm very jealous. I live in Los Angeles so either way, it would be an extremely long way.

Well, we need to ride to the metro first. If I remember correctly, it should take roughly an hour and a half to get into DC--ride to the metro and then chill in the metro cars until our stop. I think, anyway. If even.
