Update on my job interview.

I called to confirm yesterday and was given a different time. So I went at the time last specified. Apparently I was given wrong information and my interview is rescheduled for next week on Tuesday since I technically missed it today. 

I'm very disappointed. But since the interview is conducted at the library I volunteer art next week, maybe more will be in my favor than if I went to the interview today. 


I don't like feeling like I left a bad impression, even though I doubt this misunderstanding is on me.

That really blows, especially since you called them to double check... I can't really find any fault on your part, though I agree that it probably doesn't look good to the interviewer, unless they've been made aware of the situation.

I did make it aware, which is why I was kindly rescheduled for another date to be interviewed. 

The librarian was quite apologetic, actually.

That reminds me, I need to write to my first year adviser to find out my next step.

Interviews seem to be sucking lately for all of us. I went in to do my leadership interview yesterday, and my would-be-new "boss" (aka the new band director) had already left. -_-

I have been applying, but no one has called yet.

I guess I should really start looking if I want a job at all this summer...

I recommend getting one and saving all the money away for college (or something, it can be general savings, but us it wisely), trust me you'll thank yourself later if you do and kick yourself if you don't.

So, my aunt just came for a visit to bring pizza, cake, some birthday gifts, and a few other things. For my birthday, she gave me a new pair of shoes, a pair of Garfield socks, a dvd with some Peanuts and Snoopy cartoons, a Luke Skywalker action figure, a Shawn White Snowboarding Wii game, aaaaaaaaaaaaand..... A 3DS XL....case (she got this for me because: a. She knows I'll eventually get one someday, b. I can put my DS in there, and c. It was on sale).
