As confusing as I find the first story, I am interested in seeing what a fourth installment brings.

The best way I could see a fourth game going (at least with it being a prequel, but let's be honest - the only thing that lets an actual sequel happen is

FNAF 3 spoilers:

is sort of like how 3 goes - you start off on a night with no animatronics happening. Throughout the week, Plot happens, and more animatronics are added to the fray.

Perhaps we'll see a much harder installment of the series as the original game was supposed to be unbeatable. But I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

I don't think that the original game was supposed to be unbeatable. I think it was just 4/20 mode, and even that might just be "this is so hard I don't think anybody can do it".

I've heard that the creator himself didn't think the game was beatable until his beta testers came back.

So today I actually got to see Five Nights at Freddys 2 in person. I didn't actually play it, but I still watched. The guy didn't get a chance to play too much, but I caught the tail end of Night 1 and all of Night 2. Me and one other person thought he was going to be killed for sure at one point because Foxy was in the hallway, slowly advancing, and then the guy checked the left vent and discovered that Toy Chica was there. And then the music box started to need winding. Somehow both Foxy and Toy Chica left.

I gotta say that FNAF2 isn't very scary.

The jumpscares are a bit scarier to me (at least some of them), but yeah, I do think that the first game is a bit scarier overall while the second game is just more frustrating.

And the third game is beyond terrifying in atmosphere alone. Scared

But Springtrap's jumpscares themselves aren't very scary. They're more like "hey bro, what's up? I'mma gonna kill you now".

Culprits for lack of scariness include lack of shaking and most of the jumpscares being just leaping at you.

Culprits for frustration include BB and BB. (Though I'd like to thank Scott for making the guy you have to look at the camera for's method much more straightforward in 2.)

Agreed... Way creepier than the other games IMO.

BB though... First time I saw his jumpscare was during jacksepticeye's first go at FNAF3.... Audio goes bonkers and all of a sudden.... IT'S BB! ~~Nearly shit myself....~~

Some of the ones that jump at you are the scariest to me... Foxy is scarier jumping at you than just sticking his head through the door IMO.

Anything is scarier than Foxy leaning in through the window. He's like, "hey bro, what's up? Maybe we should chat a bit, but then I'll have to kill you. Company policy and all."
