Hey dude, those help just as much, if not more than sit-ups. Why you ask? because in sit ups, you focus on bringing your entire body up, whereas in curl-ups, you can really focus on working the necessary muscles because you're not doing too much work.

Essentially, curl-ups are sit-ups that require less work, but produce the same result IMO.

Yeah but where's the fun in excersizing if I don't run the risk of spinal injury?

honestly, idk if there are any real differences in their effects, but I do know that curl ups are less likely to hurt inexperienced people so I picked it for that :D

I'm learning a lot about living healthy thanks to being inspired by an anime...

such as how the reason i'm sore is because I tore my body up and its healing to not take as much damage next time, and that bananas are amazing for sore bodies, and to also move around when sore (and that push ups apparently work the stomach area)

Just remember to not overdo it. This is a lot for someone just starting out, so take it one step at a time and, like today, modify when necessary.

Also, can confirm bananas are good. After work yesterday, I was sore, but I had a banana this morning before work and felt great all day (probably other factors that led to this, but still giving jokool some credit here).

after doing all of the 4 once this is the order i find them:

easiest is squats, i feel unable to walk for a bit after 100 but am fine the next day (unless i try to pick something up off the ground, then the soreness kicks in)
the 10k walk/jog/run is easy as well since I walk alot anyway so the soreness wasn't really there, just time consuming and my body constantly wants to stop
crunches were rough and i had to stop a few times to rest up

the push ups are hell, but hitting 100 feels amazing, enough that i went to 101 today xD
