Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes

There's a trilogy of movies coming out based on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them author Newt Scamander, set in America in the 1920s, and we just got a bunch of new details. The first movie is coming out in 2016.

Oh, didn't know these were being set in America. *knows little to nothing about Harry Potter*

The sound of something related to the Franchise set in the US sounds vaguely familiar.

I am also excited for the upcoming play starring harry's son.

So as I'm reading through the wiki and learning all sorts of stuff I never knew before, I'm also learning that I've missed out on awful lot on the books, including of the most important plot points of the series. I'm starting to think perhaps I should back over the entire series...

yeah the sixth movie barely told us about hororcruxes and the fact aragog was dying until he was actually dead.

So has anyone here taken the Pottermore sorting and wand quizzes? It'd be interesting to see what everyone gets~

I hadn't but the wand quiz sounds interesting.

For the Sorting, I prefer this quiz, which has 125 questions and bases your house on more concrete criteria. I got Ravenclaw from there.

I remember taking the wand quiz, but I can't remember what I got, and I can't remember my Pottermore password. :V

Yeah, I liked that quiz better. I got Ravenclaw too! Pottermore gave me Gryffindor but it didn't sit right with me lol

Wand-wise I got acacia wood, dragon heartstring core, 12 3/4 in length, and quite bendy flexibility. I like it

I'm more interested in the wand quiz than the house one.

And my results are Ash wood with a unicorn hair core, 10 ¾" and unyielding flexibility

I kinda want one handcrafted to put on display now haha

My whole family has taken the HP house quiz. Mom's a Gryffindor, Dad's Hufflepuff, my sis is Ravenclaw, and I'm a Slytherin. We are truly a house divided.

What the one I got or just any wand? I know there's companies that make them, my mom used to work for one that made key items from a number of franchises, including Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Come to think of it, I think my mom does have a couple of them, buried somewhere in her massive closet which in turn is buried behind a mountain of stuff.
