Question, how many PSP Final Fantasy games can be downloaded to the Vita?
Lessee here...not Final Fantasy I and II, because Origins apparently fills that slot. Final Fantasy III, which is basically a carbon copy of the DS port. Final Fantasy IV, which contains its sequel The After Years and an -Interlude-, and which are basically the GBA/Wii ports with better graphics and you have to don't have to download all of The After Years episodes...and that's it.

Well, you can also download the PSX Final Fantasy games. But I already beat all of the ones I give a shit about. (Screw you, VIII. And the II half of Origins.)

That's about the only thing I care about from that list. So they don't have Crisis Core?

Hmmm.... Kind of sounds like the problems I was having with Dawn of the Dragon. I definitely recommend furniture polish. It should fix most of the problems you're experiencing, but you may have to re-clean it a few times for it to be effective.
Well I don't have any...

Oh... Well, after a quick search, it looks like plain ol' water and a soft cloth (or glasses lens cleaner and cleaning cloth) will work.

And according to this, you can also try dish soap, rubbing alcohol, toothpaste, Vaseline, or even... a banana? jokool

I won't touch the banana, but I'll probably try the water and cloth. The case does have water damage (I bought the game knowing this), maybe there's some invisible scale on the disc.

I think there are people on here interested in the Etrain Odyssey series?

Anyway, they announced Etrain Odyssey 5: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/11/24/etrian-odyssey-5-announced

There's also something about a crossover game with Mystery Dungeon.

viii is probably better than vii imo, it actually averts the rpg tendency of an absurdly high level cap, and the story has everything good about vii and more, plus the interesting story.

the whole thing about how mooks level up as you do averts the absurdly high level cap in style.

I hate the idea of every mook around the world levels up as you do, if you do that then what's the point of a level system? I like level systems because they let me go to an earlier place and just destroy stuff and feeling like I made progress

Oh, we're talking about Final Fantasy. .3.

VIII doesn't really avert the Absurdly High Level Cap issue, especially since it has a level cap of 100 rather than 99. Granted, you only ever need 1000 EXP to level up, but still. Making Mooks level up as you do doesn't really avert it in style - it's Anti-Grinding instead. And it still is awful compared to other Anti-Grinding games, because it still has Forced Magic Grinding. As in, to increase your stats to stay ahead of the enemy, you need to draw/refine magic to put on your stats. And you can't just say "pffft, screw this" and work for levels anyways, because mooks are able to outpace your levels easily.
