Changing my mom's wiper blades actually wasn't very difficult at all. Press down on a little clip and the blade slides back and off. Slip a new one on, ensure it's latched, put down the arm and away you go.

Though I did slip and fall on the ice. My first slip of the year despite having covered at 4 miles of trails so far and shoveled snow and ice for a few hours.

I think I've seen my mom do that once or twice.

And on the topic of snow, I think it's still a little to early to say for sure what will happen. It would be better to wait a day or two before there's supposed to be snow to really get a good estimate.

I'm expecting delays at least, my mom is expecting cancellations.

And I was right, just got the call for a two hour delay. From what I've heard, VDOT is strongly urging schools to delay so they can treat the roads effectively.


I'm probably one of the few students ever who is unhappy about missing even part of school. I love the auto servicing program that much.

And we got cancelled sometime this morning.

Greece got a two hour delay today. Woot.

I would've heavily preferred a two hour delay...

Yep. Multiple times. Living on a hill is fun.

So it's not that dangerous to fall down, but it's still scary and could possibly hurt.

I used to live on a super steep hill before I moved here. My sister "Aqua" now temporarily lives in an area where biking on the hill is illegal because of how steep it is.
My driveway is at a slight slope, and it's annoying because it's annoying.

My mom's house's porch was mainly affected, but only my brother slipped up.

For whatever reason the stairs were fine. And I'm cool with that.

Hmm... I think I climb and descend on a 45ish degree one on a fairly regular basis. I'm not in any particular mood to load up Google Earth and do some measurements and math to verify its size though. I do know that I'm able to climb it even when it's snowy and icy with minimal slippage. Though it might help that I tend to climb it while walking on a grassy shortcut as opposed to the not quite as steep path paved on it.
