So what are you guys wishing for Christmas? I'm wishing for one of the new Pokémon games, a couple of tools, and another book on medium and heavy duty truck repair.

*is wanting Smash for the 3DS, Tomodachi Life, some more art stuff maybe, and a few books, but doesn't want to ask for too much since she knows that the Christmas fund has been cut already this year.*
*her birthday is the day after, though, so maybe she'll be able to get both games plus some stuff*

So in school news, we did robotics in our Information Technology class... TS, I now understand your pain @_@

We didn't even get into modifying the robots for competition, we just programmed them and made our own challenges to accommodate for the base robots. We do have a team or two for VEX competitions, though. But I'm not gonna do it, it was frustrating enough already. The robots kept falling apart, the teacher kept introducing more and more impossible challenges, and we did it for weeks on end without anything else to split our time on.

We're doing C programming and web design now though, both of which I'm highly interested in. Technically robotics was C as well, but it was a drag-and-drop interface, so it doesn't really count. I've been programming little text-based adventure games (which don't really go anywhere :I) in my spare time. Apparently by the end of the year we'll return to robotics, with a deeper knowledge of C under our belts to make better use of the language.
