Okay. I'll probably get started on it since I have nothing better to do. Unless jokool comes on, in which case we'll go exploring the Nether Fortress.

Currently uploading a video for that Vizzed contest, and it's taking a while to finish.... Might be able to get online later if it's done before I go to work.

The temple looks pretty cool, though it would be best to do something about those mushrooms. Also what would be better, I think, is to show you moving through the different parts of the temple to show how they're connected.

Thought the mushrooms would make it look more Nether-y...

I will remember that for the next entry though. Thought pausing and going to the next area might be better, but I will admit that it did end up looking like crap...

Either way, I didn't think I was going to win with this entry anyway, so this was just a trial run.

That's pretty awesome! A very nice level of detail on the inside. My only nitpick is that it could've done with another floor with this second floor having the Wit Alter there. Or it perhaps you could even spawn in the Wither on that floor with a command block and a tripwire.

Command blocks are banned for this server (or was it just the competition?). Also, I don't think spawning works on the server, as I tried to add some Nether mobs in cages, but the spawn eggs wouldn't work.

And I did think about adding a second floor, but that was when I thought it would be possible to add the nether mobs. When those wouldn't work, I didn't have much to add to the inside, so I just scrapped the second floor idea.

Well the server is still up so if you want to see some Nether Mobs...

So... I just finished up building stairs up into the Nether Fortress. I straightened the torch path to the fortress out a bit and also added more torches to make it easier to keep track off. I also just enchanted a pair of diamond boots and got Depth Strider I on them. It was either that or take my chances on a LV3 enchant with Unbreaking III.

I also named my sword.
