I think it means, every 30 days from your previous name change you can change your name. But if you change it and don't like it/mess up you can revert it back.

I was playing 1.8.3 earlier and I'm starting to learn how to compensate for my newfound weakness. If I move my crosshairs while striking, then I can get my old fighting ability back, but only while I'm still moving the mouse. This is easier said than done with a trackpad, but at least I can now hunt for food.

I suppose I could load up a 1.8.something server.

I don't think I have the 1.8 server. Just the 1.7 server.

Regardless of what server I open, the IP is the same.

Well then I guess they just weren't online, or my computer sucks.

Both are pretty likely.

I suppose it's also possible that your cached ip is wrong.
