Gone Fishin'

Yep, a guy (who was apparently an uber-overprotective parent that was also an extremely neglectful and abusive parent - don't ask me how that works) was complaining how Fire Emblem Awakening was uber-violent because it had swords and swords are blood and blood is bad (never mind that there isn't any blood in Fire Emblem Awakening whatsoever - I don't even think there's a "damaged portrait that shows blood" in it). I commented on how nonsensical that was and then eventually called him a troll. His trolliness came up in several more posts of mine and he reported all of them, because he's also extremely ignorant and doesn't know what "troll" means internet-wise.

And then his comments just sort of dissolved into things that make you wonder how someone like this even exists.

Well I'm off to the VA State Robotics Competition. I'll probably be unable to post over the next 48 hours so don't get too concerned.

Internet's crapped out on us again. Not sure how long we'll be out, but it shouldn't be too long, if all goes well. I will have some access on Saturday to tally up for the first contest.

I wonder if the FCC ruling is going to help you out?

I take a week off and now I've got a ton of posts to go through...

But yeah, I've been offline for a week now. Been checking Twitter and Gmail once in a while on my DS, but haven't tried logging in here on my DS (since it takes so long to load up)...until now.

Why I've been gone is because I got tired of dealing with my Wii... I figured I'd just stay offline until I got something better (like a tablet), but seeing how much I'm missing, I'm probably going to try my Wii again (at least to get caught up on stuff).

Another reason why I've been offline is because Final Fantasy XII is amazing and I've been playing it almost non-stop all week!

Anyway, I'll be back in a bit to catch up.

I'm leaving for Idaho tomorrow, I'm traveling by car so it should take about three to four days. I'm staying at Motel 6 andI'm not sure if I'll be getting Wi-Fi.

Have fun! Not sure if you're the one actually driving or not, but don't be afraid to pull over at a rest stop and sleep.

Me and my dad will be taking turns. Also it's a stick, o that will be fun.

It's just highway driving isn't it? Apart from getting up to speed (I sometimes shift into the second-highest gear to improve acceleration), there's nothing really different as opposed to driving an automatic on the highway. Now highway stop and go traffic, that's something else.... Highway stop and go traffic on a hill? That's a nightmare....

And I should know, I drove 71.3 miles yesterday.

And really the hardest part about a manual is getting moving.

Due to miscellaneous reasons, I haven't been on very much recently, and due to driver's ed, it's likely I won't be on much this week either, even though I'm on vacation.

That's good though. I will be turning 18 and I haven't even obtained my permit yet (although I am supposed to get my license this summer). I wish you well Cap
