That wasn't global warming, that was me melting all the ice, which doesn't have to imply heat :I

Also, there aren't really ice ages on Morbo. There are parts of the planet that exhibit perpetual inexplicable volcanic activity that shouldn't be there because there is no molten material below our lithosphere. Then there's the icy portions, which is perpetually cold and frozen due to some unknown source. Also, the unknown substance the ice is made of turns into water when melted, for some reason.

It should also be noted that 5,000 kilocaps is about half an inch of water level rising, so for some reason all of that ice (which covers nearly all of Morbo) does not actually contain much water when melted.

This just in from our friendly planetary scientist, Capriscienceyzant: It seems that the unknown material that composes all of the ice on Morbo is actually frozen fire. When melted at extremely low temperatures, it turns into extremely dense, extremely hot water. That is why it only occupied half an inch of raised height in our oceans. Also, it tastes like "brimstone demons from an ice-creamy hell," in his exact words.
