Watcha Reading?

Avalon, Web of Magic. It seems to be a series intended for young girls, but the manga-ish spine caught my eye while I was in the children's section picking up books for my siblings and I decided to give it a shot. Presently about halfway through the first book and interested enough to request more of the series to read at the bus stops.

Twelve Kingdoms. It's not a manga, but it is a translated Japanese series, I do believe. I'm about half way through the first book, and it is very interesting! :)

I remember The Twelve Kingdoms, at least the anime. I didn't ever really watch so much as my sister and mom did.

I have started Hunter X Hunter. :) Yup yup. I understand that a few months ago, there was some intense feels from the anime episode that had just aired, so I'm expecting there to be some pretty intense stuff (in fact, there already has been. If decapitation and the ripping out of hearts isn't your thing, then you might not enjoy this manga.) I understand why there'd be feels, too. I've already had some, and I'm only on chapter 39 as of this post ;-; (but that's probably because I'm very receptive to feels...)

Funny you should mention that. I added the 2011 anime series to my list recently after I saw a clip of it the other day.

Still need to catch up on other anime first though.... *currently catching up on Sora no Otoshimono: Forte*

The past few days I've been reading The Maze Runner by James Dashner. I really loved Dashner's 13th Reality series--his writing style is very engaging!

I've been reading accident investigation reports released by Britain's Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB). The reports have given me insight into the operation of locomotives, as well as various modes of failure, and changed my perception of a number of railway topics.

Finished Ico: Castle in the mist last night. So good, even though I played the game there was so much more in the book that made it different, and great.

I just finished Frankenstein and am now going to read my childhood guilty pleasure:Warriors: The Sight
