It is true. I've been seeing the posts about it everywhere.

Checking out Gamestop's website, it seems as if they have a big sale on Train Simulator 2014.

The game itself isn't what most people have a problem with, it's the price of the DLC. Also what you're actually buying at gamestop is a DVD (yes a DVD, not a CD) that essentially installs steam's client and tells the client to download the core files for the game as well as the routes and locomotives presently included in the game pack you bought.

I think they had the DLC on sale too. I think it was $19.99 for some of them?

Jesus, no wonder they're pissed, if that's what it is on sale.

Yeah, I guess if you get nearly a full game's worth of content, I guess it is worth paying that much.

If it has a full game's worth of content, then why the hell is it DLC?

The Last of Us had the Left Behind DLC, which, for about $15, added a complete prequel level to the game that felt like a full game in itself.
