Re: The Galactic Arcade [v1]
I really do love FlightGear, even though it's tricky to fly with just a trackpad and also a little sad since I have to fly by myself because I can't be flying and here at the same time.

Re: The Galactic Arcade [v1]
I recommend NOT getting Gates to Infinity. It was really kinda lackluster for me. A few things wrong with it were (in my opinion):jokool wrote:So I've put together a list of 3DS games I want to get if I ever get a 3DS. Tell me what you guys think and if I should add anything else to it:
- 3DS GAME LIST:
1. Pokémon X and Y
2. Mario Kart 7
3. Super Mario 3D Land
4. Super Street Fighter IV 3D
5. Paper Mario Sticker Star
6. Super Smash Brothers 3D
7. New Super Mario Brothers 2
8. Tetris Axis
9. Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn
10. Resident Evil Revelations
11. Kid Icarus Uprising
12. Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon
13. Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask
14. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Gates to Infinity
15. Sonic Lost World.
a) there is no reason given as to why you and your partner can't evolve off the bat (in the original, the evolving cave thing was just not there, in the second game, there was space distortiony stuff preventing you from evolving)
b) partners seem to primarily exist to get you more stuffs in the middle of a dungeon
c) the post game seems to be non-existent
I do, however, give a to Super Mario 3D Land. And...isn't it Fire Emblem Awakening that's on the 3DS?

Yeah, I didn't really like the way Gates to Infinity looked anyway, I just had it there since I couldn't think of what else to put in it's place.
Oops..... You're right.... Radiant Dawn is the Wii version..... *goes to fix that*

Re: The Galactic Arcade [v1]
Wow.... I can't believe how many popular video game series I've never tried before now! I missed out on so much during my childhood....
I just tried out Banjo Kazooie. Love it!
Here's some of the games I've played so far: http://www.vizzed.com/boards/profile.php?id=362820&profile=game
Any suggestions on what I should play next?

Re: The Galactic Arcade [v1]
I recommend any one of the Final Fantasies on the SNES (or their updated re-release on the GBA).

Re: The Galactic Arcade [v1]
I'll try out a SNES version of one of the later titles of FF, but first, I'll try to complete the first one on the GBA.
And yeah, I'll get to Tooie eventually.
Hmmm.... Chrono Trigger... I'll check it out.
One more thing: Looking over some 3DS titles, I think I'll replace Pokémon Mystery Dungeon with Cave Story. There's 2 versions available for the 3DS: One is a 3DSWare title that's basically a updated version of the original. The other is a 3D version of the game, which looks awesome, but it's expensive (around $40).
.....Okay, 40 bucks isn't that expensive for a 3DS game, but when you compare it to the other versions' prices (around $10 for most of them (and of course, the completely free version for the computer)), it does seem a bit pricey...

Re: The Galactic Arcade [v1]
I miscalculated, Sherman Hill is already included with Railworks 3 so the total is actually $94.97Truthseeker4449 wrote:Why does a legit train simulator have to be so expensive?
$54.99 Train Simulator 2013
$19.99 Southern Pacific GS-4 Add-On
$19.99 Union Pacific Big Boy Add-On
$39.99 Sherman Hill Add-On
-------------------------------------------
$134.96 Total without Tax or shipping and handling
However of the three computers I have full time access to, none of them meet the system requirements of Railworks (2.8 GHz and 2 GB RAM).

Re: The Galactic Arcade [v1]
Well, Microsoft screwed up royally, they say. In fact, I heard reports that one of their games...either crashed, froze, or didn't work, I can't remember now.
