I might see if my friend would buy that so she and I could play Pokémon together. It's cheaper than my 3DS, plus it doesn't have the 3D effect which she thought was kinda gimmicky.

I can't use 3D features since I see primary out of one eye, but the system works just fine in 2D mode. I find it a waste of money if you already have a 3DS.

Okay the 2DS

Here are my thoughts: Good move Nintendo.

Before anyone tries to kill me I'll explain. A lot of people are like TS and can't use 3D, but that's not the main market. The main market are, look in the commercial, little kids! That's why it can't fold, to make it more durable! A lot of parents are wary of the 3D feature and are smart enough to know their kids can just slide the 3D bar back up, or get into parental controls and eventually unlock it. With this, no fear of that! Its also cheaper since kids are more likely to damage it!

Basically, if you already have a 3DS, no reason to get a 2D one, but if you don't have a 3DS yet, then you can get it for the cheaper price, or for a lil kid!
