You underestimate my throwing arm, if I'm good enough to drive a broadsword through steel, I can get a bar of soap to force its' way into your mouth. And even if it fails to break your teeth, it's still going all over your face and some of it will get past your lips.

If I don't want it in there, it doesn't go in there. Same deal as the I/D chips.

Then next time say you deflected it with something, that would avoid some headaches.

What headaches!? Simply put, I closed my mouth, it did not go in.

Then it still splattered all over your face, possibly breaking somethings.

You said it yourself; this is a place where we can toss physics out the window.

Then instead of assuming we all know what happened, say what happened, as we normally obey the laws unless we state otherwise. Saying that you closed your mouth so it wouldn't go in doesn't cut it as it's still hitting you in the face. If you want to appear uninjured, say something like "I dodged it" (thereby avoiding contact and even more headaches later, and I mean headaches like this arguing) or "It hit me in the face, but fell to the ground intact"

It won't splatter because you didn't say that you threw it that hard until after I said I blocked it. And throwing it that hard would rip your arm off, and you didn't say that it didn't.

So it kinda had to fall to the ground intact.
