So my English homework was to read this article and be ready to write about it tomorrow morning. I find the contents of this article so interesting and important that I'm sharing it here.

This morning prior to the start of classes at Parkview High School in Sterling, VA. three men rolled up to a student walking to the school and shot to death. It is believed the three shooters are students themselves and are affiliated with one of the gangs in the area. The school is on lockdown and the other schools in Sterling are in a lockout, nobody in, nobody out, but class is in session.

And now for something completely different. New research is showing that adult coloring books actually help with stress relief and certain mental illness.

I'd believe it. Coloring books can be very soothing.

Back to depressing news, there's a shooting at Washington DC's Union Station. Well one of them anyway. One causality confirmed so far, shooting may still be in progress.

A crane fell in one Mecca's Great Mosque....at least 60 are confirmed dead.

So this actually turned out to be a domestic. Some guy was very upset about his wife leaving him, so decided to stab her to death. A security guard intervened and was slashed. The guard responded by non-fatally wounding the suspect, who is in custody.
