Could be worse. You could be at in a semi-remote place with a malfunctioning fire alarm, a severe thunderstorm, a old vulnerable power system that could fail at any moment, no cell service (without use of a network extender that will probably fail when the power does) and a parrot who is steadily becoming more agitated and louder.

In which case this was my late evening yesterday, slightly dramatized because the fire alarm only needed a new battery. Though trying to figure out which of the 6+ fire alarms was beeping every few minutes was annoying.

If there was not the concern three of the alarms would trip an automatic 911 call because they appear to be linked into the wireless network, and the concern of never getting the parrot to calm down afterwards, I would do it.
