My homework for English this week is to write a fanfic for this book. Specifically a different POV type of fanfic, as seen on this chart.

I recall only one other time this has happened in recent memory, but that one wasn't a true fanfic. (I swapped Pikachu out for a dog, but otherwise it was an Eldershipping drabble for my Mass Media class in high school.)

But back to the chart. For anyone who reads fanfics, what are your feelings on AUs? I usually don't care for them because the more extreme ones are almost completely different characters except for the names (espcially Pokémon fanfics that don't have any Pokémon in them wah), but slightly-mild/middle AU stories I don't mind. Some are pretty damn neat. Like "Sun Soul", from the first couple of chapters I read.

I like AU if it shows the world differently while keeping the things which made the characters them them

Was any part of the story told from her POV? If she was seen in only one setting (specifically a work setting?) I could understand how that characterization for her could be skewed.

so far, she had a special arc which showed her as a kid with her mom, then on the day when she finally got the position(position was pokédex updater :D) though my poor ability to update has caused a sharp decline in readers XD

I say platinum only cause it has colder temps, looker, charon, and giratina, otherwise I mix platinum/diamond/pearl stuffs along with whatever I feel like adding :I
