It was pointed out to me by the service manager that when I say hello to someone, my tone drastically changes, and it was implied that the change is kinda creepy, though he said it is usually enthusiastic. He said he often feels compelled to look over his shoulder when I tell him hello because he can't immediately tell who it was.

My habit of standing on one's blind spot while looking their shoulder at their monitor doesn't help.

I am mildly amused by this information.
