I pulled my X-Saber deck out of storage (I made it before my lengthy break) and managed to snag a duel with Vkai. I had a shaky start with several derps (getting ready to Synchro Summon, only to realize I couldn't legally do the summon and activating an equip trap at the wrong time and then forgetting said trap's effect). But everything evened out and I summoned the LV9 XX-Saber and activated both my field spell and my trap from earlier, resulting in a monster with a beasty 4800 ATK. The following turn saw the synchro summoning of the monster I wanted to summon earlier (the LV7 X-Saber). My heart skipped a few beats when Vkai summoned Malefic Cyber End Dragon and then XYZ summoned a Railgun. Thankfully 2000 in burn damage was quite tolerable at the time and I came back the following turn with another X-Saber summon (this time a LV6) for GG.

While I need to review my deck for familiarization reasons, it's clear to me that the deck is truly a formidable force, even if I don't summon the Red Nova Dragon waiting in the wings.

after a few duels, Twilight beat me using his burn deck against my infernity deck :P

I had a full field and had been negating most of his burn towards the end, keeping myself alive with 1000 lp, then he used just desserts when I drew a card XD

couldn't negate it and lost

after a while he figured out that to stop my negations he'd best use his traps while I had something just drawn :I

if he hadn't used gravity bind he would have lost

Gravity bind is a pain, unless you're using an xyz deck.

That happened to me the other day. Guy uses Gravity Bind, but I have all xyz monsters on the field. Laughing

BTW, are you still on DN?

Forgot to post this interesting move yesterday: A guy I was dueling wasn't doing much to start off with. I didn't have much either, so I had a MPB set and one in attack. His next turn, he summons a simple monster, then spams it with equip spells, enough to give it a outrageous attack (I think 9800) that did exactly 8000 damage to my LP when he attacked my attack position MPB: https://i.imgur.com/026B8uD.png

Earlier, I was trying out MPB again, and a guy summons Utopia Ray Victory.....

This actually seems well thought out, it counters E-drags and their giant eye balls ~~and isn't strong enough to survive my infernal dragons~~

Was dueling earlier. Ran into a guy using Crystal Beasts. I was using Mecha Phantom Beasts.

At one point, I was able to get 3 of them out, and I had 2 tokens. The result:
