Switch also probably won't be digitally backwards compatible (besides from ports, but those will technically be Switch titles), because.

Well, in my home, mom doesn't like having a lot of consoles (apparently...)
There were really only a very select few things I wanted on the Wii-U. Breath of the Wild will be on the Switch, and that was really the doozy for me. I can get Smash on the 3DS, heck even Mario Maker is coming to the 3DS. I'm not much of a Mario player anyway.

Oh yeah, and isn't Yoshi's Whooly World moving to the 3DS too?

We already own the original Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, so getting the remakes (while living at home) is practically a joke. We don't need them, they're not new, so there's no point in getting them. (From everyone else's perspective. I would have gotten them in a heartbeat ;v; )

Splatoon looks like it's going to the Switch, aaaaand those are all of the huge titles that I can think of that we'd actually get. I can already tell that the Wii U won't be used much at all, especially with me going off to college and moving out whenever and what not. It's not financially beneficial to get a Wii U. The Switch, on the other hand, has a future.

So now my siblings and I just have to convince mom that the Switch is a good idea and that we can still keep the Wii. (The previous argument was to get a Wii U, sell the Wii, and get a GameCube again for our GameCube games. But, well...that doesn't make sense for us anymore with the next console coming out)

Also, jokool, the Mystery Dungeon games are great games! I haven't played the latest two yet, but not only have I heard great things, but because of my experiences with the older games, they are all just wonderful! They're not a typical Pokémon game, which is fun and interesting~

I'm concurring with Charles's decision. They're all great, though Super Mystery Dungeon has the gall to be really difficult.

Gates to Infinity was OK.

All the other ones are better, and Gates is lacking a a few important ways for me but I'm not sure if I would rank it as bad.
