The Nonary Games! Empty The Nonary Games!

Okay, I splurged when I got paid Friday and bought the Nonary Games bundle, which includes remastered versions of 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors and Virtue's Last Reward. But it was 60% off and there was a 10% off coupon as well on the PS Store, so it was under $20. How could I pass up on something like that on two games I've been wanting to own for ages now?

As many of you may remember, I attempted to do a LP of 999 a couple years ago, but gave up on it for two reasons. One was because my computer at the time was struggling to keep up with everything that was going on when I was getting a new part ready (had the game up, the forum up to type everything out, and was taking a ton of screenshots, plus had a wiki up for info, was linking to youtube videos that had the soundtrack....yeah, probably not the best method for what I was trying to do). The other reason...I was just getting tired of having to type out an entire game full of text as I played it, constantly switching back and forth from the game to the forum to type out every detail that was going on...

I regret not finishing that, and I always told myself that if I ever had the capability to record Lps effectively, I'd do this game as soon as possible. Jump to now, when I have a PS4 that has a built in streaming option and the game in my possession.

So, what I'll be doing is (if everything goes well), starting tomorrow at around noon-ish, there will be a interactive stream of this game. Most likely, this will take multiple days to get the full game done, but I'm hoping I can get most of it done tomorrow on my day off.

How will it be interactive? Everyone in chat will decide on key decisions, so you will all be playing the nonary game with me. Caprizant

For those of you who can't join the stream, I'll be uploading the streams to Youtube (if they turn out well that is, lag has been a factor when I've done testing).

Also of note, I will not be doing voice chat for personal and technical reasons. I will keep up with the chat on my tablet however, and the chat will also be on screen for everyone to see.

I hope to see you guys on Twitch! https://www.twitch.tv/jokool_plays No I totally didn't delete another account and had to make yet another Twitch... <.<

8 HOURS LATER AND I'M DONE!! Fallen, can't get up

So, since nobody showed up, I scrapped the plan to have chat play the nonary game and just went ahead and got the safe ending, which is one of the bad endings, but it's also required to get before you can get the true ending.

...now to see if it turned out well enough to upload it to Youtube to share here...though, I doubt anyone will want to see an 8 hour long video...hehehehehe...end me plz...

Okay, no idea if the export to youtube worked, so in case it gets lost in the echo, here's a link to the twitch video: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/223651888##

I would have stopped by, by I try to stay away from rated M games, they tend to have content I'm not as comfortable with

But dude and 8 hour stream, that is legit I hope you had fun playing through the game!

And that was just for one ending... Come back Wednesday when I do the true ending....which I'm kind of hoping will be 9 hours (get it? cuz 9 hours is part of the name of the game? heh...).

BTW, the export did make it to youtube, so here it is:

9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors Safe ending:

That's the beauty of the PS4! All I had to do was push the share button, select start broadcasting, sign into twitch, and bam! Unlimited streaming power!

THE TRUE ENDING STREAM WENT FOR 9 HOURS!! Laughing

...Well, 9 hours and 25 minutes according to the video length (think it was around 9 and 1/2 hours total before lag).

...I'm so sorry Truth...

But anyway, the video is currently being exported and will be posted here once it's up.

Stream went pretty well, had a couple pop in viewers now and then, and one of them actually chatted with me at the end of the stream, so that was cool.

...but I think I'm done trying to do let's plays and live streams... It just doesn't feel right for me, and every time I try, it usually doesn't turn out nearly as well as I'd like it to, or something goes wrong. I honestly don't know how people like Brownman, Jacksepticeye, Markiplier, PBG, etc. do it. It's crazy what all you have to do to make a good quality lets play/live stream.

What I'm doing here, and what I've attempted to do in the past...it doesn't even compare. I know I've only done this a few times, and they have years of experience doing this, but I just don't see me getting to their level, or even a subpar level, with what I have and what I do.

But! I finally did it! I completed a let's play that I thought I'd given up on ages ago! I always told myself that if I ever had the chance to redo it, I would, and I did! For that, I feel quite proud of myself.

Now, I know I only did 2 of the 5 endings (well, there's technically 6, but one is just what you get if you don't get the safe ending before the true ending), but I don't think I'll bother streaming the other 3 bad endings. I may complete them in my own time for the trophies (and to hear the Japanese voice cast), but I think I've shared the most important details of this game.

But yeah, like I said, I think I'm done. I got this check off of my list finally, and I just don't see myself going anywhere from here with this path.

Thank you to everyone who has been apart of my let's play and live streams, and, for one last time in this section...I'll see ya!
