Finished Super Metroid for the first time!

I only looked up 4 things, tips for wall jumping (I was trapped in that room with the 3 lil dudes where the only way out is wall jumping), how to get out of that room with the bird (turns out he was trying to teach me super jumping), if power bombs did anything to Ridley (I was desperate in the battle okay?), and how to get a metroid off of you (I had tried everything though apparently it was 3 power bombs)

I only found 61% of the items and my reward for clear time was Samus removing her helmet but still, I feel accomplished finishing this classic (also even though I knew the ending it was still emotional for me D:) now I shall let my thumbs rest x.x

There's someone on my Tumblr who keeps sending me really cute anon messages and giving me advice and cheering me up, they've been doing this for months now and I always get really happy to see them send me a message, I think I have a literal guardian angel ;w;

Got my first Christmas Present! A Blue iPod Shuffle, with a three year protection plan.

I also got an iTunes gift card and while I wasn't initially excited about it, it turns out the gift card perfectly covers the cost of The Midnight's Endless Summer album. I've had trouble finding the songs individually so to receive all the songs at equalized volume settings is great.
