Anyone ever heard of Medaka Box?

No.

So I've started watching Medaka Box (dubbed too, though it might be a fan dub, regardless it's not bad) and although it's not the anime I hoped it would be (a beat-em-up-a-rama), I'm still quite pleased with what I've been presented with in episodes one and two.

So far the series is take complaints from students and fix 'em. But there have quite a bit of hitting at the relation between Medaka and her childhood friend, who is the male lead.

Medaka herself is clearly for fanservice as her uniform is very different from the ones everyone else wears and purposely shows off her cleavage. Let's also not overlook the times she strips down to her underwear, to the male lead's discomfort. What makes her special is her powers, which haven't received much coverage yet. She's got some fancy footwork and insane kendo skills for sure though.

The male lead also has good physical strength. I'm not going to say much about him. He's not really the one you watch for even though he narratives much of the series thus far.

Another character worth mentioning is a loli with bright blue hair. She's bright and cheerful with a monster appetite and a seemingly bottomless stomach with the metabolism to keep her small. If Medaka is about sex appeal, then this girl is about maximum cuteness.

There has been quite a bit of hinting that there's going to be more to the series.

Just came across this series and might check it out since it sounds interesting.

After Yomeiro choice, I don't need more ecchi for a while o//o

I'm interested! I need some ecchi after dropping High School DxD (though, I was thinking about checking out Heaven's Lost Property next anyway, and if I remember correctly, it's also an ecchi).

It's not ecchi because there's skin showing (which so far there has been very little of, apart from whiteout on computer screens), it's ecchi and rated Mature because the main character gets sucked into a voice acting career with a porn game company. Naturally she doesn't possess that kind of vocabulary to begin with and so has to learn it on the job, usually in the company of men.


At least that's what I've deduced from the first two chapters and what I've seen looking over my dad's shoulder the past few days.

Ooooooooohhhhh.... I think I've heard of that one. Can't remember the name though...
