You're really lucky that you've never had the displeasure of eating bitter watermelon. I think that I'd like to retract my previous statement about watermelon and say that dry bitter watermelon is the worst type of watermelon in existence and that flaky watermelon sucks, but isn't nearly as bad as the dry types.

Really? I guess I'll be going to Japan in pursuit of better watermelons. I could start a whole TV show about it called Watermelon Quest, it'd be awesome.

Yeah, they're much smaller and expensive, but for such a burst of flavor it'd be worth it me thinks.
