Fair point. But I can make a few other preparations in the mean time.

I propose that to prevent the decorations from getting old, our header should be completely black on the first of October. Then, each day, a little skeleton rises from the bottom of the header (a little CSS magic or simply Photoshop/a similar program could accomplish this). this  will continue until October 31, where the entire header becomes a picture of a Halloween scene. This would take a lot of work to maintain the entire month, but the payoff would be cool as hell.

Why is it not winter yet

With less than a week left of September I think now's a reasonable time to start.

We started getting Halloween candy at my store at the tail-end of July.

I'm just mad that there are barely any Thanksgiving supplies.
