If you go to your voice settings in Steam, it'll let you adjust the volume and receiving amount. I figured out that my master volume on my computer was why I couldn't be heard in previous attempts to voice chat, so I can adjust the volume and stuff in steam to have less of an echo and background clutter.

Edit, also, I'll be getting my shower in a few minutes, so I should be ready to play by 8 my time at the latest.

I somehow feels like this makes up for my lack of reading ability because it turns out that I wasn't completely wrong. I'll start up the server now and probably join in a couple minutes.

Well, we beat our time compared to last time for sure. We were doing so well too, found diamonds and everything.

The plan is to play again tomorrow evening.

Man, sounds fun. Unfortunately, I'd need to explain to at least one of my parents who I'm talking to, and I don't feel like doing that because then I probably wouldn't be able to make borderline-inappropriate remarks.

But my mom will be out of town and I'll be house-sitting for her, so I could probably do it then if it's still going on!

Personally I'd prefer if you didn't make borderline-inappropriate remarks regardless I play without headphones because technical reasons and my dad is often watching anime nearby. Not that he really cares, but my little sister did pop out of bed to grab a forgotten stuffed toy and hung around a minute before I told her to go back to bed, which I think is audible on the stream. jokool is also touch and go at times with his family. Nanna and her sisters likewise have been on speakers and I'd hate for that to end up causing an issue.

All that aside, I'd love to have more people.

Speaking of...I think it's best that I don't voice chat anymore. My grandma is always worried about me and who I interact with, and she really doesn't like me having conversations with "people I don't actually know" and stuff like that. I think I know you guys well enough to know that I can trust you (I mean, I highly doubt any of you are "prisoners or criminals" ), but I also know that my grandma just worries about me after hearing so many things about the dangers of the internet and stuff like that. She's also worried that something she says (or my uncle says) can be heard while I'm on an open mic (like yesterday, she was on the phone with my mom while I was chatting, and was worried that others were listening in on a private conversation...).

So, yeah, I still want to play, and I love being able to chat with you guys, but I really shouldn't anymore...

But, at least if Charles can't voice chat either, he won't be alone.
