Anyway, I'm calling it a night. Quite an eventful day. As mentioned earlier, I patched all the holes made by the Wither, I finished the railway and now it is fully powered and loops completely around the area underground, I got some puke dirt with a silk touch pick (it's in your chest Truth if you need it for anything)...uh....oh, finished restoring my backyard forest (or did I do that yesterday?)....

Oh yeah! And this:

I took a Ghast Tear from your chest, jokool.  Sorry...But, it was for a good cause!  It was the last one I needed to make a full four End Crystals.  I was hunting Ghasts earlier and found that up to 3 tears dropped from a Ghast if I killed it with my new sword.  

It was at that point that the game seemingly caught on, 'cause I couldn't find another one after that.  

So, I grabbed that last tear and figured I could take on the Ender Dragon.  I had the crystals, my new sword and an even newer Infinity/Power IV/Flame/Unbreaking III Bow...and three Wither Skeleton skulls that I'd collected while Ghast hunting.  So, I decided to fight the Wither in the village nearby like I'd suggested we do last night...and I won!  

With a second Nether Star in hand,I marched down into the End and respawned the dragon, and killed it as well!  So now we have a new area of the End to explore.  

Jokool, since I did kinda steal from you and all...you can have the extra Nether Star.  dibs on the next set of Elytra we find!

And when we finish exploring that one, I already have four more crystals. Though I must first do my electrical written final before I can come online tonight.

I haven't found any End Cities yet, unfortunately.

So I went looking for another ocean monument, and I think I saw one when I went northwest and found that desert and savanna a while back. So I went back thataway to see if I could find it again. Instead, I saw a mineshaft when chunks were loading. Had 3 spider spawners almost directly next to each other and two dungeons that were next to each other (skeleton and zombie spawners in those). All the spawners that I came across are broken, but I hear many more spiders, so I imagine there's more.

Ran out of room in my inventory before I fully explored, so if anyone is interested, the coordinates are -2269 38 -3082. It's underwater, and that exact block on the coordinates is the entrance I dug down into underwater (aqua affinity and respiration are a God send ).

While I was hunting, I found two of my missing wolves!

...Unfortunately, only one made it home with me.

I'm disheartened to hear the news one of your wolves has passed, but I'm pleased to hear that you're hunting for yourself now.
