Yes, that is true! Also for some reason it counts steps in Sleep Mode while you're playing a DS game too.

Oh. I think 90% of my 3DS's run time now is on YouTube. It's nice having a small TV and being able to do other things without fear of lag of missing stuff having to flip around tabs.
