This is how I describe them but it may not be specific enough for your tastes. 

There's a warrior deck, a machine deck, a xyz deck, and the last deck is a spell caster deck I believe. All of them utilize syncro monsters expect for the xyz deck so they are probably behind the times but I've enjoyed many duels with them in real life.

I can help test too, but it'll have to be in the afternoon/evening since we have stuff to do tomorrow.

Who is "we"?

Synchro monsters are still very much in, being in almost every deck's extra deck.

I can help test them, but against me you'll either crush or be crushed depending on the deck o.o

So true... Most of my decks tend to crush inexperienced players as well.
