Re: Duelist Kingdom [v2]
no, and the structure deck I choose only had 39 cards according to the wiki. I didn't leave one out.

Maybe you left a copy of a card out? I dunno, it's hard to tell when you aren't looking at the deck. (And it doesn't really matter.)

Re: Duelist Kingdom [v2]
Structure decks are meant to be ready to play right out of the box, there must be a copy of a card somewhere.

Do you have two copies of "Gateway to the Dark World"? That might be what you're missing. If not, I don't know.
Personally I would've recommended another Structure Deck, but whatever floats your boat.

Re: Duelist Kingdom [v2]
In someways it's a decent choice for a starter deck. Dark Worlds have been described as an easy deck to play. It's also fast enough to keep with many decks, if not outpace them completely, as well potent enough to win a nice number of duels. But almost never matches because that's when everyone sides that Light Mirrior :I

Re: Duelist Kingdom [v2]
I'd like to make a note that if a Pendulum monster gets banished, it actually gets banished. If Dimensional Fissure is on the field, then only Pendulum Monsters acting as Monsters get banished; cards in the Pendulum Zone return to the Extra Deck as per usual.

I dunno. Maybe I will, maybe I won't. I probably will urge Greece to duel you more now though.

Re: Duelist Kingdom [v2]
How do Pendulum cards even work? And why are they colored so weirdly? I only just got used to Synchros and XYZ.

Re: Duelist Kingdom [v2]
Pendulum monsters are colored like that because they're basically fusions of Spells and Monsters. :B
The main usage of Pendulum monsters is to be able to Special Summon many monsters within one move. As it's counted as one summon, Solemn Judgement will negate and destroy all of the monsters that were being added onto the field via Pendulum Summon.
This works best with some visual aids, so take Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician. Both are Pendulum Monsters. Thus, they can be placed on two different places on the field: the Monster Zone (as usual) or the new Pendulum Zone™. While in the Pendulum Zone, Pendulum Monsters such as Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician are treated as generic Spell Cards (not to be confused with Normal Spell Cards), and the effect in the top box (their Pendulum Effect, which works like a Spell Effect) is applied rather than the bottom effect (their Monster effect). When they're sent from the field to the Graveyard for any reason (Synchro Summon, destroyed, etc.) they instead go to the Extra Deck face up. (Because they're not actually on the field, this doesn't apply if you use them as Xyz Materials.)
To actually Pendulum Summon, you need two monsters in each Pendulum Zone, with different Pendulum Scales (hereafter referred to as , because I will take any shortcuts I can). The of each monster is on each side of the box with their Pendulum effect. There's some technical details on which is applied, but that doesn't actually matter yet.
Once per turn, you can declare that you're Pendulum Summoning. You can then summon any amount of monsters from your hand or that are face-up in your Extra Deck whose Levels (or, in the case of Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon, Rank) are in between the of the two monsters in the Pendulum Zones. For example, Stargazer Magician has a of 1, while Timegazer Magician has a of 8, so you can Pendulum Summon any monster that's Level 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7. You can Pendulum Summon your monsters in any position, and the position of the cards can be different. (For example, I can summon a Dark Resonator in Defense Position and a Dark Magician in Attack Position.)
This is very long, I realize. But it's the only way!
