I'd say it wasn't just skill that resulted in the lame-ass duel. It was also shitty luck. Shitty, shitty luck.

Recently swapped out was Urbellum for Shooting Quasar Dragon (who can be summoned with Phonon Pulse Dragon (converted to Level 1) + Catastor + Level 6 Synchro). Also switched out Focault for another Odd-Eyes; while both of their main purposes involve killing themselves at the End Phase, Odd-Eyes actually gets something out of it besides shifting to the wings. Also Odd-Eyes + Stargazer can Pendulum the Tuners out, if nothing else. (Odd-Eyes + Timegazer can't bring anything out besides another Odd-Eyes (until they start making Pendulum Synchros, at least), but it's not strictly needed because Stargazer doesn't have any placement limits, while Timegazer can't be placed if you control a monster, which is actually kind of tricky to deal with considering that a fair chunk of my monsters refuse to be destroyed by battle.)Lief Katano wrote:

I'm already used to teaching people (jokool, Lima, and Greece are notable examples) how to use DN, so waiting a while for a turn doesn't bother me. I'm a rather patient person and only expect to be given the same amount of time in return should I require it. There are times, usually when playing a new deck or one I haven't used in some time, where it will take me like 5 minutes just to read the effects on my cards and like another 5 at most to figure out what to do. It's also not uncommon for me to have to think about what way I want to approach things as my decks often have several potential ways of operating.
