It does seem a bit too tall, unless that neko eventually jumps up or something. Shouldn't be too hard to find something to crop it.

Well if all it does is wave its tail, then you can take the top off. If you're concerned about what impact that will have on the GIF, make a copy and experiment on that. If it fails, you still have the original.
