- The person inside of him - and probably causing him to try and kill you - is commonly associated with the color purple. But that's because the only time you actually see him is in Atari-style minigames, and Ataris aren't known for being graphically impressive by any stretch of the imagination. Springtrap himself is yellow, hence the fan moniker "Golden Bonnie". Regs Bonnie is purple.
Now, why I'm surprised people are sexifying Springtrap (and thus the man inside of him) is because he killed at least five children and is responsible for the events of all three Five Nights at Freddy's games. That shit's fucked up. This makes Draco fangirls look sane in comparison, because the most Draco is is a jerk.
Also it's a combination of necro- (purple guy is dead in there), robo- (Springtrap is a robot), and furryphelia (a robot rabbit), which seems unlikely but this is the internet.
