About my comments saying Smash U will be better than Smash 3ds? That's a fact :T

But that isn't to say 3ds isn't good or needed. For example, you travel between your parent's houses right? Well you can't really take a wii U with you for that, but you can take a 3ds. That right there makes 3ds smash much more valuable than the U version. Heck, when I'm on the road using public transit I pass the time with a few smashes on 3ds. That's why I said smash 3ds is equivalent to a sandwich (as a college student I survive off of sandwiches while on the road) convenient, portable, and satisfying. There's also Japan's market to account for in which handhelds are used more due to lots of public transit, and not as much space.

On the other hand there's the U version which is comparable to the full course meal. Full of so much goodness and shared with others, but also completely ridiculous to try to transport. You can't smash on the go with the U version unless you carry the console and a generator on you. The biggest appeal for me is the local multiplayer which makes smash so great in my eyes. Yes online is great, but playing with buds is so much more rewarding for me.

As you can see, both fulfill different needs, thus both are equally needed in the market, though Wii U smash will be better because 8 player smash and stage builder -shot-

In other news, played another hour of xenoblade, got lost in the colony again and ran around Dunban's house a couple times before deciding I should progress the story and meet Shulk. From there I jumped into the water and got my butt handed to me by the piranha thingies (I think there were 2 named enemies there o.o) like 3 times before I said screw it and just took the safe stairs.

Also a bunny with a club killed me too....

so, the trend of acknowledging crazy rumors about the original paired versions in the remakes continues with the "delta episode" which references the rumor of being able to go into space in RSE and catch jirachi and deoxys.

Er...what were the other "crazy rumors"?

bill giving you access to new areas in red/blue and the truck rumor both became real in FRLG, and the silver is giovanni's son thing that was speculated before the reveal came in both the anime and the adventures manga.

Adventures isn't canon to the games and Silver never was in the anime I don't think.

yes he was, and it was speculated before any of those came out, then came the HGSS celebi event.
also, I know adventures isn't canon, but it's based off of the games more than anything else.

He did appear in the anime, but not in the capacity of Giovanni's son. Unless Bulbapedia is lying, which seems unlikely considering he's had a while to appear in the anime. There's two other Silvers in the anime: one of them is a Lugia and the other is a character speculated to be Ash's father. Neither of them have red hair.

Care to elaborate? As someone who has completed Fire Red, I never was given access to further areas because of Bill---ooooooh. Wait a second. the Sevii Islands.

Actually, there is a truck in RBY and FRLG. Rather than let you nab Mew, though, it just gives you a Lava Cookie. Given that you need outside help to get Cut to get into Lt. Surge's Gym and then go on until you get Surf, it's...not really worth it.
