Did you do it only a few times? I've taken a public bus for two weeks in a row as a commuter and if there's one thing I couldn't stand, it was the people who were smokers (which also included several of the bus drivers), or rather just their odor. Then again I probably didn't smell that well after sitting in the baking sun for 20 minutes every day while waiting for the bus.

It's the times that get me, I've been riding the bus from collage and my classes get out 50 after the hour and the bus comes at the half-hour make so I have to wait 40 minutes for the bus to come, it also make the 20 minutes by car into an hour and a half.

The bus route I took is actually somewhat faster than going by car if only because it doesn't spend much time on Route 7 and thus manages to avoid parking on Route 7 like everyone else during Rush Hour.
